Taradale 552 was a Mitsubishi 6/1 appliance commissioned on the 25th October 1994, with a Darley HM 500 pump. It can carry a crew of six (Officer, Driver, and four in rear cab).

This appliance arrived on station as a new appliance and had traveled almost 9,000 kms when transfered out. It was replaced in 2004 with the Incident Support Unit - Taradale 5512.
