Hazardous Fire at Omarunui Landfill
Tuesday, November 21st, 20064th Alarm at the landfill Sunday 19th November with both 551, 5512 and all other staff responding in private vehicles.
HB Today photographer Stephen Mcnicholl shoots Taradale Firefighter Andrew Joseph arriving at the Omraunui Landfill after all personell were asked to respond in private vehicles.

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006Latest call after a sharp jump since fireworks went on sale was a grass fire, Puketapu Road. Most probably fireworks as used ones were scattered over the road further down.
